An innovative concept

Elise Goffinon, designer
Epicurean by nature and respectful of the traditional values that have marked my journey as a student in hospitality and catering, I refined my taste for the Arts of the Table by working for many years for a prestigious Parisian silversmith.
Recently, I chose to carve my own path, following this trail of French elegance, writing on a new page, white and pure like porcelain, one of the materials I selected to create my tableware collections. And because nature is well-made and deserves to be preserved and celebrated, I wanted to incorporate materials derived from the treasures it offers us.
Let there be light !
Since Antiquity, we have spent long one-on-one with a plate every day. Yet, just like a case that is instantly eclipsed by the jewel it holds, it often fades into the background in favor of the dishes it contains.
To restore its nobility and bring it from shadow to light, I have adorned it with a lithophane, a fine engraved plate that conceals subtle lighting, revealing your mark or emblem like a secret you have chosen to unveil…
A removable plate
At Omaël, the plate takes liberties and is divided into two parts: an elegant underplate, on which is cleverly positioned a fine Limoges porcelain plate that will hold your culinary creations.
On a practical way, these porcelain plates are easier to place in your dishwasher.
This innovative concept also allows you to swap the designs to change themes according to your desires: vary the shapes of your plates, mix their colors, and blend styles to create your own… You are the artist of your table!
